After unremitting efforts in recent years, China’s cyber security policies and regulations system has been continuously improved, and the network security work system and mechanism have been increasingly improved. The capabilities of key information infrastructure protection, data security management, personal information protection and risk prevention of new technologies and new applications have been continuously strengthened, network security education, technology and industry have been integrated and developed, the awareness and capabilities of network security in the whole society have been significantly improved, and the network security guarantee system and capabilities have been continuously built, providing a solid guarantee for safeguarding the sovereignty, security and development interests of the national cyberspace.

In view of the outstanding problems concerned by all walks of life and the people, we have formulated relevant strategic plans, promulgated a series of laws and regulations such as the Network Security Law, the Data Security Law, the Personal Information Protection Law, and the Regulations on the Security Protection of Key Information Infrastructure, and issued policy documents such as the Network Security Review Measures, the Cloud Computing Service Security Assessment Measures, and Several Provisions on Automobile Data Security Management (Trial). We have established a series of important systems, such as key information infrastructure security protection, network security review, cloud computing service security assessment, data security management, and personal information protection. At the same time, we have issued more than 300 national standards, and basically built a "four beams and eight pillars" of network security policies and regulations system.

The Central Network Information Office is responsible for overall coordination, the relevant functional departments of the state do a good job in safety protection and supervision within the scope of their duties, the protection departments earnestly perform the safety protection and supervision and management responsibilities of their own industries and fields, the operators strictly implement the main responsibilities, and all sectors of society cooperate with each other to promote the network security work to a higher level and a deeper level.

At present, more than 60 colleges and universities in China have established cyber security colleges, and more than 200 colleges and universities have established cyber security undergraduate majors, with more than 20,000 cyber security graduates each year.
